Aycaris was considered a major colony world within the Antrixian Commonwealth and was home to over 3 billion citizens of the Commonwealth. Aycaris was home to House Draydess and Arentech Industries, leading producer within the Commonwealth of foodstuffs along with military and space technology. The inhabitants of Aycaris had fostered a love for the land that promoted a healthy environment along with clean industry. Working closely with the Lutrin, Aycarens had kept their planet lush and plentiful.
Aycaris was considered the crowning jewel of the Commonwealth for its melding of technology with the environment. Some called it the “Emerald Planet” due to its green appearance. The planet was covered in lush grasslands and forests, with no sizable bodies of water. Aycaris also boasted a moderate temperature year round with no serious weather patterns.
Viewed as a mild planet, most inhabitants of Aycaris, known as Aecareans, were also viewed as having mild temperaments. Aycaris was home to a large population of Lutrin, as they viewed it as a second home to the planet Lutra. Together, the Aecareans and Lutrin strove to keep their planet healthy and viable for future generations.
The strongest ally to the High Seat of the Commonwealth in the later days of the Republic was House Draydess. Duke Leeto Draydess, leader of the House, oversaw day-to-day governing of the planet and acted as a right hand to the High Seat on Antrixies, a position known as the High Lord's Hand. Wherever House Strykia was found, a member of House Draydess or members of its forces were not far off. If rumors held true, House Draydess was set to succeed House Strykia to the High Seat.
